Switch Drinks Pourer - ジュースをつぐマシーン

This "moroQ" switch adapted drinks machine is a great idea, that I've not seen before (this drink pouring machine is the closest thing). I can imagine loads of potential uses for that, drinks for family, pets, friends, customers, cooking and maybe even art. Nearest I could find in the UK is the novelty "Kooler Klub Golfer's Drink Dispenser". If anyone can find something more like the pictured Bandai machine, please post a comment.

On-line Picture Editing Software

In my other job, I've been working on pictorial shopping lists for very easy to cook meals. As our computers are locked up tight as regards installing new software, it's been great to discover how many superb on-line picture editing packages there are.

We've initially been using two fantastic on-line free photo editing packages to do this. First is "Pixlr" from Pixlr.com which takes a bit of getting used to, but is very powerful. Secondly is FotoFlexer which is simpler with some great effects. If these don't suit, there are many more photo editors that are equally worth a try.

All added to my Free Symbols section, which combined offer some great starting points for building inclusive communication systems.

The Ambiomat

I've long rued how little Switch Accessible Art devices and software there are available. Needless to say, I was absolutlely chuffed to bits, when Rob 'OddBob' Fearon offered to create something to help fill this gap a little. He came up with the splendid "Ambiomat"...

"The Ambiomat is an ambient art package designed for use with a single switch. It is an 11×8 canvas designed to produce abstract block artwork that can look decent regardless of your ability to interact."

With the effects turned off, it's a really effective art creation tool. With the special effects turned on, it's also a really effective cause and effect activity.

Step over to "Bagfull of Wrong" for the current version. It's a work in progress as I understand, so if anyone has any suggestions for further development, please let him know. More please other programmers!!
